    System Alignment Notice: What to Expect

    We’re pleased to share that we are in the final stages of our amalgamation. The last step is aligning our systems so we can deliver consistent products, services, and experiences for all members across every branch.

    As part of this system alignment, some services will be temporarily unavailable. Please review the details below and take note of the recommended actions to help minimize any disruption.

    Service Impacts and Key Dates

    Interac e-Transfer®

    • As of February 25, Interac e‑Transfer® is temporarily unavailable.
    • Any pending e‑Transfers will be cancelled and automatically redeposited into the originating account.

    Digital and Telephone Banking 

    • From 5:00 p.m. AST on Friday, February 27 through Monday, March 2, the following services will be unavailable:
      • Online banking
      • Mobile banking
      • Telephone banking

    Mobile Banking Access

    • Beginning March 2, mobile banking will be available through the East Coast Credit Union app on Apple or Android

    Interac e-Transfer Features

    • Full e-Transfer functionality will be restored by end of day March 3.

    To help ensure a smooth transition, we strongly recommend completing the steps below before the system alignment begins. Please download the schedule and checklist now.


    Save Your Account Information

    Your in‑account transaction history will not carry over.

    • Take screenshots or save copies of your transaction history.
    • Download your most recent e‑Statements and cheque images.


    Confirm Your Log In Details

    Saved or memorized logins will not transfer.

    • Make sure you know your Member ID and Personal Access Code (PAC)
    • Test your login credentials before 5 PM AST on February 27
    • Please note: Your Member ID and PAC are not changing


    Plan Ahead for Payments
    • Submit any nonautomated bill payments due between February 27 and March 2 in advance
