Special Meeting and Annual General Meeting

Our Annual General Meeting will be held virtually on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at 7:00 pm via Zoom. There will also be a Special Meeting component to present a Special Resolution to the membership regarding amalgamation.

As a member, you have a say in determining the future of your credit union, and as such, you have the opportunity to vote on the proposed amalgamation. Online voting via the eVoting platform is now open and will run until 11:59 pm on June 29, 2021. eVoting is available from any computer or mobile device with an internet connection. For those who do not have access to a computer or mobile device, please visit or contact your branch and they will be happy to assist you.

Are you Eligible to Vote?

Every member who is 18 years of age and over, and in good standing* is entitled to one vote.

*Share balance of not less than $5. The Credit Union Act 71(1) and 71(2) does not allow owners to vote more than once per question or to vote by proxy. If a corporation or association is a member of East Coast Credit Union, the Credit Union shall recognize an individual to represent the corporation or association by a resolution of the directors of governing body of the corporation or association.
