E-Statement Conversion


Changes to Personal Account Statements Effective November 1st, 2018

Effective November 1st, 2018, we will be asking for our member’s support to help us be a more socially responsible organization and to continue to further reduce our impact on the environment. Effective November 1st, unless you indicate otherwise by contacting us, you will no longer receive paper statements on Personal Accounts.

Electronic statements are available through our online banking service.  There are many advantages to receiving e-statements and eliminating paper statements including:

  • Using e-statements will reduce your risk of having personal information in a mailbox or in the trash, which could result in personal identity theft – a rapidly increasing security risk.
  • E-Statements are faster, free, and at your fingertips. You no longer have to wait for the mail to arrive. Your e-statement will be available on the 10th day of each month and will be accessible for up to seven years.
  • You will also help us, as an environmentally-conscious organization, reduce paper usage and reduce our impact on the environment.

How do I access my e-statements?

As long as you have online banking, you have FREE access to your cheques and statements electronically just by logging in to your online banking account. Once you are logged in, click the “View e-Statements” option on the left side of the screen, then click the link which corresponds to the e-statement you would like to view, then download. It’s fast, efficient, easy and free!




I don’t have online banking?

To sign up for online banking, you can contact your branch or our Member Advice Centre at 1-866-230-7700 or email eastcoast@creditu.ca and our staff will have you set up in no time.

I still need to receive paper statements.
