Pandemic Payment Relief Program


In challenging times, it is important that we support one another. East Coast Credit Union has implemented a payment relief program to support our members who are experiencing financial hardship as a result of COVID-19. The support will include up to six-month payment deferrals where members will not be required to make regular payments on mortgages and term loans.

We will work directly with members who have been impacted on a case-by-case basis to help identify ways to ease the financial stress associated with COVID-19.

Info for Individuals

  • Mortgages
    • Members holding residential mortgages with East Coast Credit Union may be eligible for a deferral of payments for up to six-months.
  • Term Loans
    • East Coast Credit Union Members with personal term loans may be eligible for a deferral of payments for up to six-months.
  • Lines of Credit
    • Lines of credit and increases to personal lines of credit are available on an individual member basis.
    • An Emergency Line of Credit may be available to members who hold existing mortgages with East Coast Credit Union.

Info for Businesses

  • Business members may be eligible for a deferral on their line of credit, loan and mortgage payments for up to six-months.
