How May We Help You?
Each year, the #EastCoastCUCares Grant Program provides up to $100,000 in funding for initiatives that create a measurable social and/or environmental impact on our local communities.
We are currently reviewing the applications received this year for the annual #EastCoastCUCares Grant Program.
The deadline for applications was November 8, 2022. The application will reopen in the summer of 2023.
Giving back is deeply rooted in who we are. This initiative looks to help Nova Scotia build back together by providing funding to organizations that use innovative, entrepreneurial, and market-oriented approaches to generate positive social, environmental, and other public benefits. Why not apply for a little help from your friends at East Coast CU?
Each year, through our #EastCoastCUCares initiative, staff across Nova Scotia carry out random acts of kindness in our communities. It’s all about being kind to one another and doing good without reward. Catch more of us caring for our communities by searching #EastCoastCUCares on social media!
The Coady Change Leader Campaign provides scholarships for people to attend education programs. We pledged $25,000 to help develop this campaign focused on social change, community development, climate resilience, and women’s leadership.
East Coast CU donated a piece of land to the St. Andrews Seniors’ Housing Authority which will be used for their new ground mount solar power system. This donation will help maintain a sustainable environment.
